Calculating Body Fat at Home
THE NAVY BODYFAT
CALCULATOR
How it works
ALL YOU NEED IS A
TAPE MEASURE
All body fat measurement comes with a margin of error. Admittedly some are better than others, but most range 2-10%. This calculator boasts 3-4% and does a great job of illustrating change, especially when it comes to fat loss. Additionally, if you do not want to invest in a fancy scale or a hand-held bioimpedance device, the cost cannot be beaten (a measuring tape runs $1-5).
And don’t worry, no Algebra PTSD here- we have done all the heavy mathematical lifting as well. Just choose your gender, and plug in the values.
